This year we are taking our Christmas decorating cues from the neoclassical ballet, The Nutcracker. If you’ve had the pleasure of seeing this enchanting ballet production, you’ll likely have vivid memories of the opening scenes which depict a dazzling Christmas party in a palatial parlor grandly bedecked in confectionery pastels, gold gilt and sparkling crystal.

We’re calling this look “Sugar Plum Chic” and we’ve stocked the store with pieces that will elevate your Christmas décor and ensure your holiday is as magical as Clara’s, the lucky little girl in the story.

Here’s a few of our favorites:

First up, we love this delectable pink striped bench. We envision this piece in front of the fireplace or Christmas Tree. Top it with gifts or use it for extra seating for guests. The lux upholstery with its yummy shades of pink and cream, remind us of Clara’s imaginary journey through the Kingdom of Sweets.

We’re also smitten with this regal gold gilt mirror. Mirrors are great in a room all year long, but during the holidays they glitter even more than usual with the reflection of Christmas lights and a roaring fire. We think this piece just screams sugar plum chic.
