Dear Diary

We are still pinching ourselves over the success of our second annual Cocktails & Conversation Design Trade Panel, on Tuesday, February 28. The weather was glorious, the guest speakers were informative and engaging, and the turnout was amazing!

After last year’s event went awry due to extreme weather, we weren’t sure we could put ourselves through that stress again. But we are so pleased we did!

Upon arrival, our more than 150 guests made themselves comfortable in our 70s-inspired outdoor lounge and bar areas outfitted with some of our favorite P.B.R pieces. They sipped refreshing signature cocktails created by Shaking Aces and nibbled on delicious appetizers provided by The Island Kitchen.

Then it was time to take a seat in the tent to hear from our fantastic panel of locally based and nationally acclaimed interior designers who so graciously donated their time. Thank you to Billy Ceglia of Billy Ceglia Designs, Barbara Lewis of The Lewis Group, Caitlin Kah of Caitlin Kah Interiors, Katherine Shenaman of Katherine Shenaman Interiors and Kristen Waterworth Alterman of Krista+Home. Your words were inspiring, and the big takeaway was that vintage Palm Beach Regency style pieces are timeless and here to stay! Yay!

Finally, it was time for SHOPPING, which is something our P.B.R fans love to do! They enjoyed 15 percent of everything and a percentage of proceeds went to the Historical Society of the Palm Beach County, so it was all for a great cause!

Thank you to all of you who attended. And to our event partners The Scout Guide of Jupiter and The Scout Guide of Palm Beach. It was a dream event two years in the making that finally came true.
